Meet The Planner
Meet Meredith! Meredith Hug is the owner and lead planner of Sweet Promises Events LLC. Born and raised in Connecticut, Meredith has always had a knack for planning parties. From birthday parties to going away parties to just because parties, Meredith has been known as the girl who will throw a party just so she can plan it. Her favorite thing about planning is seeing a vision come to life. From guest lists to cakes to decorations, there is nothing like seeing something that was once in her head be transformed into something real.
Meredith has a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Montessori Education from Gordon College and she was a teacher for four years before going into event planning full time. After spending some time learning more about the event industry, specifically the wedding industry, Meredith launched Sweet Promises Events LLC. Sweet Promises Events LLC offers full-service wedding planning, partial wedding planning, day-of-coordinator services, and party planning services.
